Margie Maselli

Born and raised in San Francisco, and surrounded by a very creative family, I was exposed to many different music artists from The Rolling Stones, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor to James Brown, Carlos Santana, Tower of Power, Cold Blood, Earth, Wind and Fire, Laura Nyro, Stevie Wonder to Bjork to Bonnie Raitt and now John Mayer and Colbie Caillat..... you get the picture. With so much great music all around me, it became obvious to me how music moves and soothes people. It can uplift them and inspire them and that was the realization and revitalization, you could say, of my own purpose. To move, uplift, inspire and soothe with music. So I started on my quest to follow my dream. Had my first band at the age of 9 and many since then, I've toured the U.S. and overseas, I've performed in ALL STAR bands which included members from Tower of Power, Bonnie Raitt and Santana, and with so many other great artists such as Pop Diva Maxine Nightingale, The House of Lords, Faster Pussycat, the amazing Stacie Francis. I've lent my voice to some of the greatest causes like Chaka Khan and the Chaka Khan Foundation, the late great Issac Hayes and The World Literacy Crusade, Citizen's Commission on Human Rights, Youth For Human Rights, Artist's For A Better World, Artist's For Human Rights and many others as these organizations so perfectly align with my own purposes and deserve support. With such a diverse background, having rubbed elbows with so many amazing people from all over the world, I'm venturing out now on a new chapter of my music career and putting up my original works.
