Covenant Recording Studio is located in Kansas City, Missouri. We are very dedicated to delivering a high quality product at a great value. Our goal is to offer world- class music production in a variety of musical genres. We are prepared to record and produce projects that will meet a variety of needs from local bands to major labels. Covenant is committed to give your project the edge that it needs to be noticed in the industry... and that you'll never want to go anywhere else to get it done.
Brandon Paddock is the house producer and mixing engineer. He was the producer for the band, Josephine Collective, until they were later signed by Warner Brothers. Paddock went to LA to help engineer on their full- length project with producer John Feldmann (Goldfinger, Hillary Duff, Lost Prophets, Story of the Year, and The Used). Brandon has just finished recording, engineering, mixing and producing a track, here at Covenant Recording, for Josephine Collective's new CD that will be released by Warner Brothers in early 2008 titled, "We Are the Air."
Brandon has also produced and engineered for other local bands in KC such as; Queens Club, Flee The Seen, Jimmy Allen (formerly of Puddle of Mudd), Virtuosity, Autumn In Repair, The American Life, Chasing 7, Mi Corazon Negro, The Voice Issue, and John Goolsby."
Recently, 2007 Grammy nominated artists' Leeland recorded at Covenant prior to their tour with Casting Crowns.
The house drum and guitar technician, Tyler Chiarelli, is a recording and production assistant who is in charge of the set up for the guitars and drums at each session. He has professional experience in teching many different instruments and has worked as a personal guitar tech for Jimmy Allen from Puddle of Mudd. He also works as a professional guitar and drum tech at one of the most established backline companies in the Midwest. Tyler is an excellent and very versatile musician who has an exceptional amount of professional experience in tuning and teching drums, guitar and many other instruments.
Brandon and Tyler are extremely dedicated to finding the exact sounds you are looking for. Between the two of them, they have spent countless hours listening, researching, experimenting and reproducing professional sounds in many different genres and styles. We have a diverse list of equipment that they use so that they can be prepared to give you the sound you need. Here is a list of our current equipment:
