Just when they didn't need an additional challenge, a selected few each year rally the courage to get on stage and make the masses laugh.Each reporter has their own professional comedy mentor who works with them to prepare for the big night. A featured show on the New York Underground Comedy Festival, the first New York's Funniest Reporter show took place on Sept. 27th, 2006 at Gotham Comedy Club to a sold out crowd. The New York Post's Mandy Stadtmiller was declared the winner at
