La musica come ossessione benefica, vitale e assolutamente indispensabile.La musica, come scelta unica e irrevocabile.
Michele Bonivento la penetra e se ne lascia divorare, la attraversa e la ingloba per capillarità.
Negli anni, sperimentandosi con musicisti i più appassionati, e con i linguaggi musicali più disparati, il GOSPEL e il BLUES lo hanno scelto.
Gli incontri, i tours e le collaborazioni con artisti afro-americani ne hanno fatto un interprete vibrante e attento.
Al conservatorio di musica B. Marcello di Venezia i suoi inizi nella musica; al C.P.M. di Milano la prosecuzione fino al diploma nel 1995 con menzione in pianoforte jazz sotto la guida del maestro Franco D’Andrea e in tastiere con Massimo Colombo.
Da allora ha maturato le sue capacità con artisti come Cheryl Porter, The Gospel Train, In The Spirit, David Massey, Kay Foster Jackson, Wendy D.Lewis, Herbie Goins, Vincent W. Williams , Darrell Hill, Glen White, James Thompson, Barbara Evans, John Henry Blues, Joice Yule, Andy J. Forest, Larry Ray, Elliot Murphy, Ashley Davis, Edsel Davis, Will Roberson, Kimberly Dovington, Carl Verheyen.
Ha tenuto concerti in Inghilterra, Irlanda, Spagna, Germania, Svizzera, Austria, Slovenia, Croazia, Polonia, Ungheria e Stati Uniti, partecipando ai più importanti Festivals, tra i quali: Pistoia Blues, Trasimeno Blues Festival, Montreaux Jazz Festival.
A Chicago (vera 'Mecca' del Gospel e del blues) ha suonato nelle più importanti chiese e registrato il cd “LIVE IN CHICAGO”con l' International Gospel Massangers.
Le esperienze con diversi musicisti africani come Abdou 'Jaetz' N'Diaje (bass player di Youssou N'Dour), Moulaje Niang, Badara Seck (Senegal), Jamal Ouassini (Marocco) lo conducono all’ intimo più profondo delle inesauribili idee musicali di cui solo l’Africa è capace.
Con una discografia di oltre 30 CD, Michele Bonivento è musicista dalle delicate emozioni e graffianti sonorità blues-funk, pianista di intenso feeling e organista dalle potenti ritmiche.

Michele Bonivento: Music is A Beneficial Obsession, Vital And Absolutely Essential…Music is the only irrevocable choice. Michele Bonivento is a musician who enters into the heart of music and allows himself be engulfed by it. He reaches into it’s core and with it, becomes one . Throughout the years, he has had the chance to put himself to the test by performing with some of the top musicians on the scene. Experimenting in diverse music generes, until finally choosing the road of gospel and blues. His musical experiences have included numerous tours and many collaborations with the Afro-American community which has helped his approach to soul music. His studies began at The Music School Benedetto Marcello in Venice. From there he continued on at the C.P.M school in Milan where he received his degree in 1995 after studying jazz piano with Maestro Franco D’Andrea and keyboard with Massimo Colombo. Since his school days, Michele’s musical skills and excellence have matured after working with artist such as The Gospel Train, In The Spirit, Joyce Yuille, David Massey, Kay Foster Jackson, Cheryl Porter, Wendy D. Lewis, Herbie Goins, Vincent Williams, Darrell Hill, Glen White, James Thompson, Barbara Evans, John Henry Blues, Andy J. Forest, Larry Ray, Elliott Murphy, Ashey Davis, Edsel Davis, Will Roberson, Kimberly Covington and Carl Verheyen. Michele has been granted the opportunity to travel throughout Europe, including countries such as Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Croatia along with many others. His travels have also been in the UK and The United States where he recorded the cd“Live in Chicago” with the gospel group The International Gospel Messengers. His partecipations also include various music festivals such as Pistoia Blues, Trasimeno Blues Festival and the Montreaux Jazz Festival just to mention a few. Always curious and anxious to improve, Michele has been touched by the African culture working along side musicians Abdou ‘Jaetz N’Diaje (Youssou N’Dour’s bassist), Moulaje Niang, Badara Seck from Senegal and Jamal Ouassini from Morocco. Collaborations that have taught him deeply about the world of African music. With over 30 cd’s recorded including his own and other collaborations, Michele is a musician with delicate emotions and an edgy blues funky vibe.
