About Me

Wow. What about me? Well...I guess I'm hard to classify, and quite frankly, I prefer it that way. I don't believe in putting a label on a person. As Dee Snider sings "I Am ... I'm Me!" That pretty much sums it up.
I'm 36 yrs old and happily married to Jimmy for 12 years. We are proud parents of three little angels, two of whom are diagnosed as Asperger's, which is high functioning Autism. It's a challenge, but life is a challenge. After the crap I've endured since childhood, Asperger's is a walk in the park.
Where my full-time job is housewife/mother, I'm also a part-time cafeteria worker at my older kids' school. It works for me, as far as working around the kids' schedules. Someday, I hope to return to college to get a degree to work with children who are Autistic.
In my spare time, I read, I listen to music, mainly heavy metal and punk, but I love all kinds from Bach to Slayer and everything in between (even some country). I like doing crafts; cross stitching and scrapbooking. I also enjoy writing poetry and short stories, although I rarely show anyone my work.
So stop...look around. I know I'm complex. I prefer it that way!
Have a great day!

Intolerance and Ignorance Part Deux

I work as a lowly cafeteria cashier at a K-12 school.  It's not a glamorous job by any means.  I, however, do enjoy the busy work that it entails.  I've always been that way.  I'm ...

Intolerance or Ignorance. Either way, Im sick of it!
