Originally, it was hip hop, artists like newcleus, afrika bambaata or arthur baker that awakened the curiosity for electronic music in me at an early age. It felt quirky and fresh and opened up a new way to create soundenviroments, more mysterious and exciting. Later, it was the the berlin label "low spirit" that fascinated me because of their mixture of those old influences from the beginning and their new level of sound design and arranging.
A good song for me has to have the ability to produce an idea or feeling that is inexplicably fascinating. Ideally, it switches off your head at least for the time it plays.
