SofiaSeed (previously BlackSeed) is a music band created a few years ago by the Matondo's brothers : JansLeNoir and Rv, both students in Milan.
The adventure started in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) where they grew up in a creative artistic environment, mainly made of reggae, rock, african and hip-hop music influences.
After various collaborations separatly and with other bands, they decided to gather their talents and their forces into a common project : that's how the BlackSeed duo was born.
Later, living in Europe, they tasted other types of music and improved some of the technical aspects that were lacking them.
Their project naturally evolved into a more consistent vision of their music and the message of the band.
That's why former BlackSeed became SofiaSeed.
SofiaSeed is now working on a demo/album project that is still work in progress..
The goal of this page is mainly to show some of our works and meet people who are interested in that, so feel free to give us suggestions and comments about it.
But please remember : we're not yet professionals and all music is homemade so please be kind in your comments.
