I am Jac Rytterholm, the singer of the heavy metal band SKELLINGTON from Stockholm, Sweden. We have just released our debut album "Last Human Standing" over here in Scandinavia and it IS kicking your ass - if you want it to be kicked!;)
Besides all this rock & roll-stuff, I used to be a movie screenwriter and independant movie producer. (Hmm, I also wrote for the legendary Swedish TV-soap-opera-success "Rederiet" for a short while!;)
But most of all I was trying real hard working my ass off as film producer for the international film market. I had a little movie production company of my own, before I decided to rock with my band Skellington all the way.
I have been involved in some highly interesting film projects both in Europe and USA (you would not believe me if I told you!) but it is simply taking so much energy - and money money money!!! And, I have to admit that the death of my parents, grand dad and older brother also took some "energy" from me, which kind of made me lose my foccus. As time went by I felt the band and making music was much easier, more direct and more important right now in my life.
But being a film nerd is still my thing!;) I have also been the Editor in Chief and film journalist for the cult phenomenon SHOCK! The Movie Magazine in the 90s. Writing about horror films, science fiction, fantasy and action movies way before everybody else - and interviewing Quentin Tarantino (his first interview ever!), Peter Jackson, Sam Raimi, John Woo, Robert Rodriguez and many other great moviemakers way before their fame today. I must tell I have a sense and taste for great talents and I am damn proud of it too!;)
So, as you can see, movies and music is my passion. I am such a film nerd that I somehow know (almost) anything and everything about films or music. Old stuff, new stuff, whatever - everything! It is just something I learned through the years from my huge interest. In Sweden many movie journalists actually call me to ask about film facts and so on...ha ha...yeah, I AM a total movie freak! Get off my back huh!?;)
