The Pavillionaires is trio playing instrumental acoustic guitar music. Guitarist Andy Wheeler is the principal writer and his tunes are embellished by Eddie Tatton on guitar and Egly Lucas on lap slide guitar.
The group's first gig was supporting Andy McKee in Lincoln in March 2007. Since then they have recorded an album, Acoustic Playground, released in October 2007. This has received airplay on BBC Radio 3's Late Junction.
A second CD is due for release shortly and may incorporate tracks from a collaboration with jazz flautist Eddie Parker..The Pavillionaires play instruments made by luthier A.J.Lucas, who also goes by the name of Egly. Andy and Eddie play Pavilion guitars and Egly plays a Laptop.
