DJ1987 started in the house party era of the late 80s, as a Graffiti Artist who would design flyers in exchange for DJ lessons. In the mid 90s he bought his own equipment and added his Hip Hop touch to the now famous rock band Incubus. After recording two albums and a soundtrack, he went back to the underground Hip Hop scene full force. By early 2000 his struggle weighed heavy, while he gained respect in the Hip Hop world as both a DJ and street promoter.Then, after a 3 year court battle with his former band mates, DJ1987s hard work paid off.
