Polyphemus

Hey everyone! If you are reading this you are probably interested in our music, so thanks in advance. Ok so, Polyphemus came together in the twilight of 2006. Former band mates Danny Surico and John Flanagan of Two West were asked to play the same show as band mates Matthew Daigler and James Alden Hyde of One-Pound Burrito. No one is quite sure whose bright idea it was (though everyone was thinking it), but the two groups came together to form a super group, a first for all parties. With only a week to practice before thier debut our four heroes went to work feverishly practicing until the wee hours of the morn. For thier very first jam together, Danny inexplicably woke up at 5 pm and then spent the night at Matthew and James's apartment. After the big show, which was a great success, all members decided that it would be mutually benefical to continue the venture together. Also, John had no other way of playing Gauntlet Legends. However, the group would face hardship. Danny left a short time later for Chile. Upon his return Matthew, James, and John left for New Zealand, Costa Rica, and France respectivly. As of right now each member of Polyphemus is on a different continent! However, this time apart is allowing all members to hone thier skills, day in and day out, waiting eagrly for the chance to reunite in Chicago and add drummer Mike "Sticks" Grabinski.
