My Interests

Music:

I really love the dueling banjo song, and also "Mary Had a Little Lamb".

Movies:

Do my neighbor's great aunt's home movies of her schnauzers dancing in pink tutus count?

Television:

The Waltons, 7th Heaven, and DEFINITELY Charlie's Angels. Oh, that Farrah is something special.

Books:

I like those little black-covered books handed out by those extremely dedicated Christians..the ones where a little girl is turned to the devil by Dungeons and Dragons, and rock n roll is actually written by the devil's minions. I think those people may be onto something.

Heroes:

My local backwoods militias.

My Blog

....and justice for all

The Illusionist

My f@(% old lady sore back!!

So I must have done something very wrong to my back in the last twenty-four hours, because one particular muscle in my lower left back is hurting like a sonofabitch.  Every time I twist a certain...

Why can't I get into movies?

I must confess that I am a movie-retard.  Sure, I'll go to the "big" movies, the ones that make a zillion dollars in their opening weeks, like Pirates of the Caribbean or Spider-Man, and, of cour...

In search of a fun weekend!

I have been working far too much lately and not having enough fun.  It gets very tiring to work all the long day, come home, be exhausted, parent my daughter, and drop into bed only to do th...

Monday night beer...

I am now at home after spending the day at work, although it just doesn't seem like I did much of anything there.  The day passed quickly and somewhat hazily for me, as I am tired.  I couldn...

On parting ways....

(WARNING:  If you don't really give a rat's ass about relationship stuff, you may not want to continue reading.) Over the past year, close relatives of both Ray's and mine have separated from the...

Invalid subject line, you cannot leave the subject blank

I'm on the couch with my laptop, watching some tennis.  It is Friday night, and I am already in my PJs, slippers and glasses.  My family is elsewhere in the house, either working (Ray) or pl...
