About Me

21 Years of Age Currently existing in: Edmonton, Alberta ____________________________________________________________ ____Alright, the EP is out. 6 songs, 6 bones. A buck a song; cheap as ever. (I'm now selling at iTunes rates) If you would like one, send me a message or leave a comment, I'll get back to you whenever the hell I feel like it. ____________________________________________________________ ____I promise I'll put the new stuff up eventually, but for right now, I'm happy not updating my myspace tunes. Rest assured that the songs on the EP are a departure from what you are hearing now. ____________________________________________________________ ___A word about the EP: _____________________________________________"These songs were intended to be an extention of due process, it's the happy accidents that always surprise and never dissapoint. During tracking I made a very odd decision in that imperfect takes are usually the finals. If it's too clean, it's no good. Why should it be perfect, when the world we live in is far from it? As a schooled musician, this is a hard concept to come by; we strive for that perfect take, that flawless performance. But that doesn't unleash character or provide anyone with the sense of what is actually going on. Most of these tunes I wrote as I recorded. It was the smell of freshness that spurred on creativity, not obsession of perfection. I want to put you in the moment, as cliche as that sounds, because these are not songs for me, but mere passing moments of my life. And life should be loved for those mere passing moments."
