Welcome to my website!Hope you enjoy reading about me and listening to my music and my musical works.I started playing bass in a band in the early 80s and formed a band called JAYBON.We recorded an album titled INI KENANGANMU produced by SHANAZRON at that time.The original line-up is JAYBON(Bass),LEKLENG(Guitar),MAN(Vocals) and YAZID(Drums).We were sponsored by FARWILL GOLDSMITH and managed by the late BERITA HARIAN reporter AZMAN SIRAJ.We even managed to record a Hari Raya song titled SEIRING TAKBIR which gets lots of airplay every year.After 2 years,the band broke up and I left for KUALA LUMPUR with SHANAZRON.While in KL,me and Shanazron masterminded the creation of a new band called TEACHER'S PET.We grouped in MAMAN,ADDY and SALLEH and recorded the album at BOSS Studio(Singapore).The band was signed by WARNER MUSIC(Malaysia) and managed by the well-knowned BOB LUKMAN.After three years,the band disbanded and we moved on with our own career.As for me,I stayed in KL and worked for BOB LUKMAN in his company called LEGEND MUSIC,doing concerts organizing and promoting and played bass as a backup band for artists.We did some big concerts sponsored by major companies such as SUZUKI MOTORS,TEXAN JEANS,VICO,SALEM,MARLBORO etc.I also played bass as a backup band for artists such as HATTAN,RAMLAH RAM,AMELINA,MAS IDAYU,SAHARA YAACOB,SM SALIM and many more.We even did a major concert for our icon band SWEET CHARITY REUNION at a sell-out stadium Merdeka.They are awesome and I am proud to be involved.Due to the economic crash of the Malaysian economy,the music industry suffers greatly.I decided to come back to S'pore in the year 2000.Surprised to know that there are lots of talents in my homeland but they do not have the opportunity to immerse in the music industry or have a chance to play with the big boys.I decided to stay on and help the local music industry with whatever experience and knowledge that I have.I started producing albums for local artists in 2001.Below are the artists that I have produced in S'pore:2003 - Produce album for local solo artiste 'ADDY' which went on to win the BEST NEW ARTIST AWARD in the local music award "ANUGERAH PLANET MUSIK"(equivalent to the Grammy Awards)2004 - Produced album for local Rock band DHARMA.2005 - Produced album for local female solo singer,SALMA and got LIFE RECORD to sign the product.2006 - Produced album for local male singer ISKANDAR ISMAIL.2007 - Produced album for local band CRADLE.I'm looking forward to producing more local artists and bands.Whatever type of music you are playing,you are welcome.
