Bay of Pigs

About Me

Bay of Pigs' members have been playing together off and on through various projects in the past few years. It wasn't untill the summer of 2007 that a strange nerve injury debilitated Watson's arm temporarily and caused him to start playing guitar a little differently. Long story short, this band's repetoir began to consist more exclusively of surf music. All members are at top form now (fingers crossed) and are determined to become a part of the next wave of surf music. (pun intended) If you like our style and/or surf music in general, show your support by telling your friends about the next surf show. Also there is plenty of room for more bands! So... Kick off the pedals, crank up the reverb, and let's make some waves in Minnesota!

Sounds Like: A dripping faucet amplified through 85,000 watts........or.Three guys bustin' out some rockin surf riffs that echo the vibes of the early 60's while riding the wave of the future. Covering classic surf standards by Dick Dale, The Belaires, The Ventures, even reinterpreting some of Man or Astroman's choice covers or turning a Tom Waits song into an exotic surfpunk romp through Istanbul. BayOfPigs are building a solid original style that reflect their taste and influences.
