I did sound design work for the new Nightwish record "Dark Passion Play". Recently worked on producing and mixing songs for an album by Jeff Silbar (“Wind Beneath My Wings†writer). Also arranged strings for the record.
Last year I scored a movie (with Nathan Wang) "Highlander-Search for Vengeance" for IMAGI US. It's directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri.
May '08 I finished a score for upcoming movie "Follow The Prophet". Presently working on sound design for a IMAGI animated movie "Gatchaman" (2009).
Born in Helsinki, Finland, I studied music theory, composition, trumpet and orchestral percussion at Kuopio Music Conservatory, Finland. Recorded 3 albums with progressive rock group, Finnforest along with my brother Pekka. We both also wrote the material for the band. In Finland I worked as an engineer/producer with several top artists and bands as well as my own groups, in studio and live.In addition to percussion, drums and trumpet, I’ve studied tenor saxophone and play keyboards, bass and guitar.As a drummer I toured in Europe with “Piirpauke,†which featured jazz and world music. I also toured the United States with “Havana Black,†a bluesy, hard rock group, signed to Capitol Records in 1990. Did some session work as a drummer with Guns n’ Roses.Since 1992, I worked in Los Angeles as a writer, producer and mixing engineer in Los Angeles.
In 1996, I began working as a sound designer, editor and composer in film/post production. My credits include "Spiderman 2 &3" on which I worked on Doc Ock and Sandman respectively, (some of my movie credits can be found on IMDB.com).
I'm available to produce, write with you or for your film and mix your projects, whether it's film music or records. Also, if you need any sound work on your film project, any size, I'll work within your budget, whether it's a short film or a full on feature film. Or any smaller sound design/musical cue, even your pneumonics.

I’ve also worked in commercial field with Groove Addicts (Santa Monica, CA) writing music for TV and radio commercials and jingles (Cheer, Cadillac, O3, Radio Wien, Capital FM, Radio 1).
And uh,I forgot to mention that I've been nominated for a Golden Reel Award (as part of a group) 3 times (Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3 and Jak II video game), We won Golden Reel for animated film "Bionicle- Mask of Light".
And then there was the Oscar Nomination for Spider-Man 2 (Paul Ottosson supervising).
