More then anything I enjoy a good time with friends. This usually involves light or heavy drinking but above it.. Great conversations about life, revolution, bodily functions, the problems with milk today and the steps to the liberation of our gente. I enjoy reading a lot.. Usually it has to do with school but when I am not overwhelmed with that I enjoy current event books or personal memoirs that deal with human struggle. Some of my favorite authors are, Alice Walker, Frank McCourt, Sandra Cisneros, "Thee" Gore Vidal, Dan Savage for sure and others. I just picked up a copy of "Is Bill Cosby Right...." which I can't wait to read. But I am no bookworm at all.... I enjoy Golfing, snowboarding... (when I have the money or time to hit the slopes... which hasn't been this year at all)...friday nights, monday days, music... oh yes... music always looking for something new to bust up the spirit... i've actually been encountering some old bands... i really enjoy calling people while in the can... but most of all i enjoy smelling the cheese in my ears.
oh so many...ARCADE FIRE for sure!!! they are at the top of my list.. then comes: Wilco, Lauryn Hill, Fugees, Erica Badu, Jill Scott, Manu Chao, B-Side Players, "Thee" Bod Marley, Coheed (thanks brenda), Majic Numbers, Ratatat, Band of Horses, Hard-Fi, Elbow!!, Blur, Jack Johnson, Jamiroquai, Ming & FS, Millencollin, White Stripes, NOFX, Spoon, Cafe Tacuba... and so many more... I love music.. what can I say..
oh hell...so many but I think nothing beats "The Color Purple".. yes there are all those experimental classic.. but where do I begin with those.. more then anything i like Documentaries then from the ground we move up...
