Influences: I grew up listening to my parents band and then eventually played in that band along with my sister. I was and I am still influenced by all of them. Other influences are Merle Haggard, George Jones, Elvis, Paul Anka, BB King, Freddy King, Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Robben Ford, Tom Waits, Keb Mo, Stevie Wonder, Chick Corea. Steve Gadd, Buddy Rich, Delbert McClinton, Johnny and Edgar Winter, Miles Davis, Marvyn Gaye, Gladys Knight, Gary Moore, Sting, Neil Young, Vince Gill, James Taylor, The Allman Brothers and whole bunch more. Besides my family these are the musicians and songwriters who inspired me to try and make music as they filled my ears and my heart with song.
