Paper Dolls was formed in 2007. It has continued to exist and evolve with a variety of different musicians. Its latest incarnation can be seen playing shows in the St. Louis area.

The Space Parlour"Perpetuating a dark and haunting sound, the Paper Dolls are an all girl rock group that combines cascading melodies, jazzy cabaret and entrancing vocals. They performed live on the Space Parlour.
"Each song is a harrowing display of emotions and dark moods, while the jazzy sounds of the cello and piano often contribute to a lighter movement. A relatively new group, the Paper Dolls joined forces in 2007, combining a number of Saint Louis musical talents to create a unique and nuanced atmosphere. Laura Muren, Jenn Malzone, Kim Anderson and Cathie Degler all contribute to the somber vocals and alluring sound. The Paper Dolls are currently working on their first album and are planning a 2009 summer tour. Look for them at Saint Louis establishments like the Wedge on March 17 and Firebird on March 28, 2009."
