Blackpool Rocks!

About Me

Wouldn't it be nice to smoke in a bar again? To have indoor smoking rooms for smokers so we can smoke in warmth and comfort - and non smokers get to stay smoke free,if they so wish? Is this all about smoking,or is it another agenda, attacking our personal freedom?
I, like most smokers, consider myself to be a considerate, responsible individual. I have paid my taxes, I have voted this government into power, but they said nothing about a total ban in their manifesto. I can't help but think that we have been 'taken to the cleaners'.
I am not looking to repeal the ban, just the restrictions on where we can smoke. Surely there could be a comprimise?
In Blackpool alone there are thousands of businesses suffering. There are a record number of guesthouses and hotels up for sale. Take a look around at the number of pubs to let. If up to 5000 pubs close because of the ban,how does that affect Blackpool?
Looking to meet with friends in the Blackpool area to gather support against the smoking ban. If we just sit back and take it, ask yourself what will happen next. How many other liberties will be taken from us? This is just the tip of the iceberg. I would like to ask everyone to visit the websites (links below). The only way the government will listen is if we shout!
Would have loved to meet Bill Hicks (RIP Bill) The late great Bill Hicks “I smoke. If this bothers anyone, I suggest you look around at the world in which we live and shut your f**kin mouth
