Psalms 101:1 I will sing of mercy and judgement: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.I was born with a passion to serve The Lord by way of music and motivational speaking. I was baptized at Unity Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Valmon Stotts. Having a strong background from Minister Thomas Whitfield and The Thomas Whitfield Company, it was at Unity I began singing with the our young adult choir; The Voices of Unity and The Mass Choir of Unity Baptist Church both under the leadership of our Minister of Music Dr. Dorgan J. Needom. While in high school I participated in various clubs and orginizations such as the Gospel Choir, Business Professionals of America, Office CO-OP, and the Debate Team. I also spoke at various citywide events sponsered by Detroit Public Schools.
Upon graduation high school I decided to pursue further schooling at Wayne State University. It was during this time I had the opportunity to meet a blessed young man named Minister David Williams. Minister David Williams to this day serves as a mentor and spiritual brother! Through Minister Williams I joined David Williams and New Generation of Praise. Through much prayer and sacrifice God led me to Abyssinia Christ Centered Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Iona E. Locke. It was here I served in the Levites Choir. Bishop Locke ushered me into a personal close relationship with God by her teachings. Again wanting to be fed more of God's word I called upon the Lord for another decision in my life.
Currently I am a member of Perfecting Church under the leadership of Pastor Marvin Winans. I am also serving in a powerhouse community choir; Antonio Clark and New Mercy. My influences and inspiration draw from several key people that were placed in my life. Of course all honor goes to God above. Another inspiration would be that of my mother Missionary Jessie Little-Curathers. Others include Bishop Dr. Iona E. Locke, and Pastor Marvin Winans. Right now I am accepting what God has for me. I know God is preparing me for that next level...
