Singing, guitar, video games, hiking, swing dancing, blues music, other good music, politics (democrat or something greener), cooking, backpacking, outdoors, volleyball, psychology, philosophy, poetry, horses, people watching, writing, good books, good fantasy books, good movies, cheesy movies, pushing my own limits. Oh yeah, and I really want to learn how to play soccer.
Anybody who shares the same interests as me. I have a fairly diverse collection of hobbies, so I expect that I'll have something in common with a large range of people. And it never hurts to have new friends.
Ggrr.. So tough. No particular order. Live, Counting Crows (they suck in concert), Allman Brothers, BB King, Johnny Cash, John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, Tracy Chapman, Louis Prima (great cooking music), White Stripes, Elvis, Radio Head, most 80's music like the Cars or Pat Benetar, Folk music that my mom used to sing to me, Blues Traveller, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Rolling Stones, Radiohead, Liquid Soul, Beatles, Ray Charles, Huey Lewis, Juliana Hatfield, Beastie Boys, Simon & Garfunkel, Wilco, Jethro Tull, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, classic rock, dirty detroit rock, blue grass, blues, big band, swing, and many others.
Blazing Saddles... Well, that's my favorite comedy anyway. Star Wars, Space Balls, Serenity, Shaun of the Dead... I can't think of many movies, but I know there are more.
I get three channels and they are fuzzy. If I'm at a friends house, I enjoy Aqua Teen, Simpsons, and Chapelle Show. Let's not forget MASH, which was the best father/son bonding tool ever invented. Firefly never should have been cancelled. My friend Sean let me borrow the DVD's and I'm hooked. The movie was great too (Serenity). I'm a closet fan of a certain girly show that I will not publicly name, and I've been watching The Wire and Heroes.
Count of Monte Cristo is my favorite. I visited the Chateau D'If when I was in Europe. Kinda small, but cool. Anita Blake series (detective/fantasy/goth/SEXY... total chick books, but they are good). The Lord of the Rings series, The Hobbit, The Simarillion, Rhapsody series (fantasy), Harry Potter, Brave New World, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, Dante's Inferno (the whole divine comedy never interested me as much as the hell part), Fahrenheit 451, Choke, The Mists of Avalon, Mary Queen of Scots, Kite Runner, random books on various religions. Currently reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, Peoples History of the United States by Howard Zinn, and a bunch of random books on different types of therapy. Oh. And I hated Catcher in the Rye.
Wolverine. Well, he's a super hero anyway. My mother. My father. My grandparents. Vincent Van Gogh. Edgar Allen Poe. Dr. Richard Spates (old psych professor who got me excited about doing research). Jean-Jacques Rousseau for writing the Social Contract. Ed Kowalcyzk (before he turned into a wuss). Bill Clinton (sans the infidelity). B.F. Skinner.
