L.M Owens is a freelance writer, a poet and a limitless vessel of imagination. The daughter of a police officer and a nurse, she grew up in A-typical suburban America. Mrs. Owens’ imagination was often her escape from the mundane happening of suburbia. As she grew older writing became an outlet for the trials and tribulations of a working-class American. The fantasy genre has been a steadfast interest to her. Dragons, castles, mythology, Native American culture, and the medieval time period have strong influence over her writings. Entertaining her children and later, her grandchildren with magical stories of fantasy and wonder has kept her wild imagination vivid. Belonging to various online groups and web sites, her writings have enchanted people around the globe. "Darius, Prince of Legend" is the culmination of this mystical imagination and a way for her to share the magic of her mind with the public.
L-M Owens lives just off Cape Cod Massachusetts with her husband and teenage son. They have 2 grown daughters and 1 grown son, 3 grandchildren and one on the way. Writing since childhood, Mrs. Owens has astonished teachers, friends and family throughout her life with her remarkable talent. After nearly 40 years of trying to "find herself" L-M felt spiritually lead to embark on her life long dream of becoming an author. With her head full of stories spanning several genres, along with poems, lyrics and sayings, we can look forward to a slew of entertaining works from this prolific writer.
