Living sober and free and I couldn't be happier...........well there's always room for improvement and I'll keep working at it. I haven't touched a street drug in over six years and I haven't drank alcohol over 5 years. I have three children, one boy and two girls and one grandchild his name is Buckett..at least thats what I call him. He has never seen me under the influence of anything and God willing, he never will. I have realized that life is so much easier and simple when I go to sleep instead of pass out and when I wake up and not "come to" after a night or in my case after days and weeks of partying. The longer I'm drug and alcohol free the better my life gets. I no longer take things for granted because I know how quickly things can be taken away from us. Material things are just that, material, what matters most to me at this point in my life is family, friends and above all else God. Don't get me wrong, I'm no angel just because I am conquoring my addictions does not make me a saint. I just choose not to sleep with the Devil or play in his playground anymore and trust me temptation is a bitch and its still got a hold on me.
