This fledgling Miami-based band was formed in July 2007. The original members were guitarist Gabriel Mayo and bassist Luis Angelo Larco. Larco and guitarist Fernando Pranckevicius (originally) had played together in former bands, and Pranckevicius was then added to the mix. After several failed drummers, Jeremy Fleischman, who went to high school with Mayo in Peru, was finally decided upon. After playing together for a while, Mayo met singer Anders Scherberger at the University of Miami and the present incarnation of Just Yesterday was formed. Mixing a vast array of influences from classic rock to Peruvian cumbia, Just Yesterday has a unique sound and a deep pool of talent which combines to form a sound that won’t soon be forgotten. Now, guitarist Joel Macadar joins the band to add a new, innovative sound that will rock your socks off!!!
