Originally from San Francisco, Tish has been active as a pianist, accompanist, keyboard player and synthesizer programmer in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Branson, Missouri, Nashville, and now Las Vegas where she will be performing in the band for the Tony Award-winning Broadway show “Jersey Boys.†She holds a Bachelor's degree in music from the University of Southern California, where she studied classical piano with Daniel Pollack and Eduardo Delgado. Jazz studies have been with David Roitstein (Cal Arts), Bill Lohr, and currently Peter Horvath. She has worked extensively as an accompanist for private voice studios and college voice departments, including Seth Riggs' studio in Los Angeles and the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) in San Francisco. While in Los Angeles, Tish was on the staff of 1171 Productions as a co-composer of music for movie trailers and industrial training/recruiting videos. She also put in her time playing the popular LA clubs with hip-hop, Top-40, R & B, and classic rock bands. Her knowledge of classical music and her ability to play many styles has taken her from recitals to Nashville and musical theater orchestra pits. She has toured with legendary crooner Andy Williams throughout Asia and the U.K., playing to full houses at such venues as Royal Albert Hall in London. She also performed with the Grammy-nominated country band Wild Rose in the U.S. and Germany. Her musical theater credits include rehearsal accompanist for the movie version of "Rent", keyboards for Mamma Mia, Beauty and the Beast, Miss Saigon, Jane Eyre, Ragtime, Little Shop of Horrors, Lion King, Annie (25th Anniversary Tour), Lennon (world premiere in San Francisco), and now the Las Vegas production of “Jersey Boys.†She has backed such artists as Nicolle Foland and Kristin Clayton (of San Francisco Opera's Merola program), British cabaret singer and television personality Melanie Stace, Broadway and Moulin Rouge star Debbie De Coudreaux, comedians Phyllis Diller and Rich Little, Huey Lewis (fundraiser for the Bread and Roses organization), Robert Goulet, Pat Boone, Debby Boone, beloved ventriloquist Shari Lewis (along with Lambchop, Charley Horse and Hush Puppy), Tony Award winner Liliane Montivecchi (Nine), Francine Reed (Lyle Lovett’s Large Band), pop diva Thelma Houston and Sara Dash of “LaBelle."
