I am a South African exchange student living in the states and an artist...the end....... ........ ......... .............. ............. .............. .... Or maybe I need to take that back. It just seems a little conceited writing about yourself, like you are trying to sell yourself. I think I would have a hard time doing that, but I guess that that is the point of this site, and people gotta know a little about you if you're out to make friends. I just feel that others dont need to know the sob stories of my life. I tend to help others more than have anyone help me, I guess that makes me independent in a sense (my first trait to sell ;) ). I guess one would have to be independent to leave their whole life and family as you know it and up and leave to a place ALONE, knowing nothing and no-one. Very brave dont you think? I always thought of myself being afraid of my own shadow so I guess the sense in which I am brave is more bold than my seemingly silly fears. Wow, this isnt so hard when you just start writing. I never seem to shut the fuck up - those who know me will back me up on that - which is why it is so strange that I am shy. If I know you I'm loud, if I dont I tend to observe the scene from a sideline until comfort level is reached. All of my friends have somehow wound up being guys. I am fine with that as Im not exactelly a girlie girl (the urge to do girlish things sometimes crosses my mind but I wouldnt say I have suffered without them) I LOVE cars (especially nice clean shiny ones). Maintenance is KEY!. I don't lie (or maybe just those little ones equivelent to the guys "no, your butt doesnt look big in that" comments) Although I never need ask that one because my butt is ALWAYS big, it aint shrinking any time soon because no matter how much I work my body out or how good it can look - the butt remains (not always a bad thing). I am an artist myself so I can really appreciate most artistic forms beyond my own, art is an awesome thing and a talent to the arts is even more awesome. I would give anything to have musical talent but the paintbrush is my love and key talent I guess so I should just be grateful for that. Okay, well lets stop right there before I do get to the sob stories because I think this is a view of me not shutting up once I get started. So there you go, a little taste of me.
