[My vinyl addiction]
I can barely remember my introduction into the beat, it happened when I was a child, romanced by a girl with long blond hair. One misty morning when I awoke there she was, standing, looking at me with these glowing eyes.
I remember her opening her hand and offering me a flower, which I chose to accept. Taking it from her hand as the wind blew so ever lightly on her skin, her wispy hair, the glow in her eyes set off by the sheer white gown she was wearing. As I took this flower into my hand I felt the beat began to play. I looked around, where was it coming from?, was it her in my mind or was it in my heart. As time passed I never lost my thirst for music, one day waking up realizing that I was the one, a warrior in the trenches every weekend, a disciple of the groove using my vinyl to speak. My mission as a weekend warrior was to protect the innocent as they massed, every night, checking their bodies at the door as light beings gathered in the round following to the vibe as I got down with my records.
Remember this before, you get high, you got to get down.
I love the smell of vinyl in the morning.
