Update 8/11/2008 - Yeah, yeah I know - I NEED to update my profile. I've been on MS for 10 months now and have yet to pimp my profile or update my info from my first few days. I've been spending most of my time connecting with friends and going on numerous musical journeys....;o) But I am now perusing potential profile looks and I've scanned a bunch of pix I'll be uploading soon AND I've installed MS IM so I can talk with friends in real time. SO changes are coming soon....really! In the meantime:

Okay, about time I write something up here. After all I've been on My Space 4 whole days!! I'm spending most of my online time here just trying to find people I know and to hook up with fabulous musicians and their music. Yes, I love music! I've acquired quite the collection of music of local and regional folks who are unsigned or who Indy produce their albums. It's always exciting for me to find someone new who has a unique and raw talent musically. This venue will help me to branch out and find artists farther away. My preference tends to run in the acoustic / folk area - but all genres are exciting when the musicians have pure talent! I don't do this on any professional level though, just personal interest.Enough on music - what else about me? I am an Oregon Country Fair Family Member and I live for our yearly gathering in Veneta, Oregon. Am I a hippie? Partly, yes. But so much more too. It is the essential event! An under achieving child of an academic family I love to think and analyze and discuss topics of almost every nature and I come alive during these discourses. I do love to talk! And I tend to do things backwards - go figure!On chocolate - given the choice between fruity, nutty or chocolaty I will usually choose fruity or nutty over chocolate. But, I do love chocolate! And if it's chocolate with fruits and nuts all the better. (Yes, all my friends are laughing - they *KNEW* I was a bit of a fruity nut!)More later....And yes, eventually I'll "pretty" up my page with some pix and things...;o)
