The key to Halfway Human's appeal is their flair for fusing explosive heavy rock with catchy melodies. Since their inception in 1998, Halfway Human has attracted a large and devoted following in their native South Florida and beyond. Among their influences are: Foo Fighters, Pink Floyd, Rush, and The Cure. Halfway Human's songs -- recorded with the assistance of two gold record-winning producers -- have been played countless times on South Florida's premier rock station, 94.9 ZETA, and on the University of Miami's WVUM. Halfway Human has performed in every major rock club in South Florida and on the local TV news. With the combined talents of singer Ralph McGee and guitarist Mark Tompkins (who has played on numerous TV commercial soundtracks) Halfway Human aims to expand their already large repertoire of songs and win over a nationwide audience.
