Purpose/Goal/Pricing
I will be working separately and in in cooperation with a few other local engineers.
Additionally, Cameron Turner will be working with Grasshopper Juice, and most likely play some role in the finished product of much of the music that comes through our doors.
Finally, Chris Schmidt (Black Tractor, Ice Cream Factory, and Shepherd's Pie Recording) will always be lurking somewhere in the background.
In all, this will be an ambitious project with a unique approach to creating, capturing, providing, and promoting great local original music.
Our only goal is your satisfaction. Having worked on both sides of the "glass", we understand what it takes to make a truly great recording: a passionate, relaxed performance; exceptional audio capture; and a mixing/editing process focused on both creating the best quality audio and the artists' intent and desire.
I (personally) charge a rate of $40/song for tracking, and $40/song for mixing*. (It's split this way in case you want to do one or the other out of house)
*These rates are negotiable for larger projects.
Because of this per song rate, I promise to spend the necessary time to deliver the results you expect.
