Fronted by impassioned vocalist and keyboardist, Jesse Nemitz, rock group Nemix performs in and around Nashville, TN entertaining fans at every show. Known for the virtuosity of its carefully selected band members, Nemix always puts on an unforgettable show of heart-pounding grooves, soaring vocals, and creative instrumentals. You might see Nemix performing as a three piece funk trio or a fully equipped original band depending on the venue. Due to the versatility of its players Nemix plays long nights of interpretive covers and carefully constructed original pieces.
Nemix is the result of a studio project started by Jesse Nemitz.
“I was a side man for the Kevin Joiner Expedition at the time, and were playing around with one of Kevin’s songs one night. We stumbled upon this mix of vocals and powerful guitar layers and right away I knew we hit on something†says band leader Jesse Nemitz.
Jesse immediately began writing new material with the rest of the band. Within a week, five songs had been crafted and Jesse began searching for the right players to complete the sound. After stumbling upon bass player Sam Hunter in a Nashville music store, Nemix was now ready to begin performing in late August 2007. Make sure to catch them live for a unique night of tremendous keyboard acrobatics, modern grooves, and spot-on vocals.
