About Me

Sam Batty is an animator/musician studying Animation & Interactive Media at RMIT. He is also the lead artist at the independent game studio "Tycho’s Minions" and plays in a band called The Thod, whose rapid progress he finds exhilerating. He also loves to get loose with his treasured mates, and he has a beautiful girlfriend called Maddy, who is totes gorgeous:)
Sam Batty’s solo project is the feature of this myspace. Sam recently finished work on his first album "Just As I Am", which is a chronicle of his songwriting between the years 2005-2007. Sam also likes to write songs in "The Thod" but they’re not really into comedy so he has begun work on a new album, tentatively titled "Songs I Use To Get Women Into My Bed". He also once played in a band called "Grater and Spoon", who are on hiatus at the moment, but he definitely treasures those memories as well. Sam reckons his keyboard playing needs work and his songs aren’t easily communicatable to guitarists, which puzzles Sam to this day.
Sam refers to himself in third person because he’s a real mad cunt.
