Look upon the stars and imagine the birth of a cosmic object unknown to man. Suddenly that object descends to earth and falls upon the streets of Alabama. Landing in an environment filled with theft, death, and hate; life seemed to be doomed from the start. But maybe this object, this life, this man can change that and inspire others to follow. Does this messiah have a name? Yes, Jevor Da Genuz!!!
Jevor is a one of a kind artist, creator, mind, body, soul, and man period. He is everything that embodies the word Genius, which is why he is Genuz. Some may say he is truly unlike most humans in this world. With the amount of thought processes that encompass his brain, this man or energy has got to be an alien. Hmmm, I don’t know, but it’s just a thought.
Born the 21st day of December, Jevor arrived in this world with a powerful mind and a mission to succeed in this f**ked up world. From day one he has been fighting an up hill battle to be successful from a city and state that is often over looked in the music industry, Birmingham, AL. Over time he has gained great knowledge in music and other supporting fields which will help him fight the plague of hate within his home town.
While recording and mixing the record, “Might Be Skinny”, in an Atlanta based studio called “The Zone”. Jevor reached the ears of Smurf, now known as Mr. Collipark, and was immediately signed to a production deal. While under Collipark Music, Jevor was blessed to be able to produce for the likes of Bone Crusher, Chyna Whyte, Ying Yang Twins, B.G., Bun B, Killer Mike, Gangsta Boo, and a list of other major & independent recording artists.
Jevor is now back in the streets with plenty of heat for real people seeking real music. “I’m not just a one dimensional artist. Not only do I produce my own tracks, but I can write hard rap records for the streets and beautiful sexy r&b records for the ladies. Also I usually mix all my records while handling the business of a soon to be well-known empire, Genuz Entertainment,” says Jevor.
Currently preparing to release, “Genuz Muzik”, the first of the mixtape series, Jevor plans to burn the streets up with this infectious virus of music. This is just a treat for the streets before he releases the highly anticipated album, “Genuverse”. So prepare yourself for the most astounding ride your soul will take in your life time.
