What's up Myspace and the rest of the world!! So a lot of yall have probably been wondering who's this guy that goes by WeLLfare really is?? The story of WeLLfare reads a lot like a movie. At the young age of 12 he started writing rhymes following in his Cousin Bill D's footsteps. He had always displayed a strong passion for music. All through his teen years he just kept writing and writing but not letting anyone know what was really on his mind and where a crazy outlandish dream would take him. Writing always was a strong point to which this kid excelled greatly in all through his younger years. Never quite knowing where it came from he ended up taking what he was blessed with and ran with it. Through his teenage years he freestyled, at parties, with friends, and so on and so forth. At the age of 17 after many years of trouble and setbacks he decided the way for him to make something of himself was by way of the U.S Armed Forces. He dropped out of high school, earned his G.E.D and off he went to basic in South Carolina. His trip to basic ended up being one of the most memorable journeys of his younger years. While in basic training he ended up meeting up with a fellow soldier,Sam Wallace a.k.a WaLLstreet DoLLaz, who had the same goals as he himself had. The two ended up being in the same platoon and not too long after found themselves passing time by having cypher sessions. WaLL was the spitter and WeLLfare played the beats. Before long WaLLstreet pushed and pushed WeLLfare to spit and realized he had something going on. A few years went by after graduation of basic. WeLLfare was from West Virginia and WaLLstreet was from Philly, they kept in touch with each other and always talked about the day that they would get to live out their dreams,but tragedy struck and a long list of run-ins with the law wound up slowing their whole path to stardom down. While in West Virginia WeLLfare ended up meeting a guy by the name of Zacarias. They had heard about each other via myspace and soon thereafter got together and started collaberating. It was only a matter of time before the two of them realized what was to come and just how much of an impact they could make with their music. In just three short months of working together they booked their first show at Club Inferno in Vienna, W.V. Neither of them could've ever imagined just how much that night alone would impact the rest of their careers. The show ended up selling out and went down in the books as one of the wildest nights and peformance's of their still young careers. Although the show brought mad attention and credibility as real forces to be reckoned with, it also had it's many downfalls. Shortly thereafter the pink cloud the duo had been riding on suddenly came crashing down. Zacarias ended up losing his mother to a long fought battle of drug addiction while his fellow companion WeLLfare was also battling a heavy addiction to drugs and alcohol, and so the self destruction of what was once looking so promising was coming to a screeching halt. In the months following the breakout style performance everything came crashing down, WeLLfare ended up getting sent back to jail, as Zacarias continued to battle with ways to cope with such a tragedy. Several more months went by and eventually WeLLfare had gotten released from out of jail. He spent the next six months learning how to live life on life's terms and how to be a productively functioning recovering drug addict. After taking a considerable amount of time to really find himself and figure out who he really was, the time had arose for him to get back in contact with Zacarias and to see if that old flame as corresponding artists still burned as heavily as it had in the past, and whoaa did it ever. The two of them ended up recording multiple tracks over just a short period of time of being cliqued back up. WeLLfare ended up getting back in touch with WaLLstreet, as the both of them continued to hone in on what exactly their overall objective was as artist/producers. Then it hit them, "Lets just start our own independent record label and make this happen ourselves", which in turn gave birth to WeLLfare and Zacarias's brainchild of Independent Struggle Ent. Now ,after years of hard work and massive amounts of dedication, determination, and motivation, their once farfetched dreams aren't looking as far away as they were once believed to be. Now with a solid group of followers and a concrete set of label mates, the future is definitely looking up for these young multi-talented individuals who have overcame the many setbacks and obstacles the world has come to throw at them. Rising up out from the many struggles of everyday life, WeLLfare,Zacarias,WaLLstreet,Rog Riff, and Kgee have strongly emerged as a group of artists to definitely keep a close watch on. Greatness lies within, and within the belly of the beast known as Independent Struggle Ent. burns a fire that looks to not go out anytime soon.Comin To A City Near You!!!
