Leeane Melendez born November 22, 1988 in Springfield, Mass. Both her parents were born and raised in Puerto Rico and so she holds strong to her roots.
Moving from place to place Leeane grew a diverse taste in Music but it wasn’t till she moved from Miami to California that she made the switch from R&B to Rock Singing and Recording with different bands such as Coexist and 48 Laws (www.myspace.com/48laws) she also became a natural on the stage. She now believes that the stage is her comfort zone performing in such places as BB Kings, Fais Do-Do, The Universal Bar and Grill, The Oxygen Lounge, The Cat Club and The Key Club.
This has been what she always wanted to do and has kept her driven to not give up though now as a Solo Act she keeps working hard in the studio to develop her sound more classified as Alternative, Acoustic, Rock. The Singer/Songwriter/Poet is currently working on making an EP Album in order to establish herself as a Solo Artist.
“Fear Has No Character†is the quote that she lives by and without fear she moves forward without looking back.
