June 18th 1988, the making of a young music mogul began.
Whitney "AbstraKt" Lea was born into a destiny with promise. During the early years of elementary school, she taught herself to play by ear, a skill that most people spend years training to do. She would listen to the radio for hours at a time and taught herself to replay the melodies that she heard. As years went on, she discovered she had a keen ear for new music, and noticed that being a music lover had its advantages. She began making "mix cds", which became very popular amongst her classmates. In high school she began DJing school functions, including luncheons and pep rallies.
"In high school I came across so many people that were talented musicians, I always wanted to be that person that got people signed. Helping artist get out there dreams gives me satisfaction" - AbstraKt.
AbstraKt looks up to the likes of Russell and Joseph Simmons, Sean "Diddy" Combs, and Tyler Perry.
