About Me

After the Silence, one of the Sacramento Valley's most prominent rock bands, has spent the majority of the time writing impacting music and building a devoted fan base through their highly electric live shows. In 2006, ATS signed with an independent label, STONEHEAD RECORDS of San Francisco with a two-album deal. The have also got endorsed with WB Custom Guitar Pickups. They are currently in production of their first CD at Sonic Room Studios in Oakland, Ca (recorded, produced and mixed by ex Systematic front man Tim Narducci). Upon completion of the first CD, ATS is enthusiastic about hitting the road in order to broaden their fan base one city at a time with their unique brand of hard-hitting rock n roll. Fan favorites like "Angel's Cry" and "Deeper Water" plunge into deep pits of lyrical despair while dealing with such issues as life, love, self-destruction, and morality; truly captivating the listener with a strong melodic quality while maintaining a gritty edge. After the silence is a band to keep your eyes on in the coming years... devoted, passionate, and talented, their success is immanent!

Reviews And Quotes:Local band After the Silence has been making quite a bit of noise lately. The Yuba City based band has played clubs as far as Hollywood, made it to the final round of Sammy Hagar's A Shot at the Cabo Wabo battle of the bands in Sacramento, and has a song featured on 98 Rocks CD compilation Sacramento Rocks Vol. 11" (Appeal Democrat)"Their demo CD does not contain the looseness of most first time recording efforts of local bands have. The sound is clean, the songwriting is compelling and the music is interesting. Most of all, After the Silence accomplishes the toughest of tasks-originality. Their sound is certainly derivative of some things that have come before, but not imitative." (Appeal Democrat) ."Together musically, the band offers a sound that shifts from your core commercial radio rock to dark and methodical with plenty of catchy chorus hooks along the way. "Watch It Burn," was their contribution to the Sac Rocks CD, and the song the band closed with." (Powerslave.com; Live show review)"The highlight of their set for me was Breakdown, you could hear how much soul went into it. I felt the emotion went into their recording as I jammed their CD on the way home. The guys have a no holds barred approach in song creation. Overall these guys are a band Id like to see more of, touring the California area. You like heavy rock and harmonies they are a band to watch." (Raginpit Magazine; Live show review)
