Lilium

[ITA BIO] Progetto che nasce da Daniele (chitarra) e Michele (basso), ai quali si è unito il batterista Daniele. Dopo alcuni tentativi di integrazione di vocalist andati vani, nel maggio del 2006 il gruppo finalmente trova il proprio frontman, Filippo. Il suono in poco tempo acquisisce le caratteristiche ricercate, mescolando sonorità alternative rock, hard core, nu-metal e post ma anche ricreando atmosfere terse e a tratti psichedeliche, con testi incentrati su percorsi introspettivi. Dopo i buoni risultati del loro primo demo, Hopeless Heroes (autoproduzione 2007) che gli permette di partecipare al Santorock 2008, festival con band quali Sadist, Morkobot, Stalker, Passover, Sleiver... Finalmente, nel Gennaio 2009, i Lilium incidono il loro primo ep "Others", autoproduzione di sei brani inediti. Finalisti del Lustando Contest 2009, nel maggio dello stesso anno vengono selezionati per il Music Village 2009.*** [ENG BIO] Lilium is an alternative metal project that brought life from Daniele and Michele, guitar and bass players. Later the drummer Daniele joined the band. Although difficulties caused by the missal of a singer, the group works hard looking for his sound. After several vocalist’s castings gone wrong, in may 2006 the band finally found his front man, Filippo. The sound, in a few time, gains the required features, mixing alternative, hard core, nu metal and post sonorities, moreover creating introspective, psychedelic and smooth atmospheres. With their first demo "Hopeless Heroes" (2007, self-produced) the band receives positive reactions from the public and notices a good involvement during exhibitions. In summer 2008 Lilium takes part of Santorock Festival's roster, playing with bands as Sadist, Morkobot, Stalker, Passover, Sleiver... Finally in January 2009, the band records his first self-produced ep, "Others", with six inedited tracks. Finalists for Lustando Contest 2009, in may of the same year they are selected to join Music Village 2009.
