About Me

Every man's work, whether it be literature or music or pictures or architecture or anything else, is always a portrait of himself. - Samuel Butler (1835-1902) British writer.................................................I was born in the wild, wild wests of West Texas. My mother had been 1/2 of a country swing duo called the Myers Sisters and my father was a heat exchange engineer - this could account for the fact that in addition to being a musician, I also work as a high level machinist as well......................Long time musician, playing everything from funk to country, using 6-string guitar, bass and keyboards, currently working on mastering the kazoo... Done some session work, production and been in more garage and professional bands than one would care to think about.....Came close several times to breaking big - but was a big achoholic at the time and turned out I was my own worst enemy (pay attention all you boozing musicians out there, drinking does NOT always make things better! Trust me on this...). Last band I was in was a little band called Jones Valley out of Big Spring, TX. Currently just writing, writing, writing !
