Wait?? Who does that anymore?!

Background from flickr userHi. My name is Yolanda. Allow me to tell you a little about myself. Im in NO way perfect, but strive to be as close to it as possible in every way possible. The only way I can do it is if I be who and what God created me to be, which is a Diamond created to shine any and everywhere I go. Dont get it twisted, Im not going to sit here and be your motivational speaker for the hour, Im just putting it out there incase someone hates on me for being all that I can be. Im not a flawless chick either. A lot of people want to befriend a female that looks and acts as if she has it all together and hides who she really is... Lets see how many friend requests I get after you read this section of my page (Females and Males). The thing about a diamond is that from a piece of unattractive coal under a lot of pressure forms something so precious that its sought after far and wide. I have issues just like any other ordinary female or person. I deal with things that are unattractive in a woman.. I have insecurity issues, sparks of jealousy, trust issues... you name it, Ive probably dealt with it or Im still dealing with it... But what makes me different from so many others is that I use/used the pressure of the repercussions of my issues to shape me more and more into what Im supposed to be. You see,.. I refuse to stay in the same place that Im in now. A diamond doesnt stay a piece of coal... then it wouldnt be called a diamond... it would still be coal.. (duh)... This is what makes me a diamond... What you see is what you get. There is NO way that you can cover up coal and dress it up as a diamond and have people actually believe that its a diamond. A diamond is a diamond is a diamond. Theres a difference between diamonds and cubics. If you had $10 to $20 dollars in your pocket right now, you can go somewhere and purchase cubic rings or earings. But it darn sure wouldnt be the case if you went to buy any type of earing, bracelet or ring with a or multiple diamonds in it. I dont and wont sell my self or settle for less than what Im worth and what I deserve. Im not being cocky about anything.. its just that Im tired of the counterfeits. You see,.. to the naked eye, cubics and diamonds are VERY similar, but once you put them both under a magnifying glass, the real truth comes out. Cubics are duller than diamonds. Cubics chip away after a while. I say all of that to really tell and show you who I am. Now you have the choice to want to know me, or take your chances trying to figure out if the next is actually a diamond or a cubic.
