I can't really think of something way interesting that I'm interested in. Just the normal stuff. Going out with friends and having a good time. Definitely like movies, music, and more. But yeah, I like dancing my ass off at the bar, and I'm a connoisseur of mozzarrella sticks and Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.
People who like to have fun and crotchety, cute old men. Of course, everyone says that. Not so much about the old men, but they crack me up and they have good stories, although I admit they aren't always the easiest to deal with. Just stay on their good side. So I guess to be a little more specific, people who aren't about the drama and are decent at heart. I'm not down with liars, cheaters, users, and abusers, since I'm a people pleaser and don't like confrontation. See told you I was a dork. Pretentious and catty girls aren't my style either. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a perfect person or on a pedestal. I would just rather have a handful of good friends, rather than a lot of fake ones. And even more specific I'd love to meet Holly, Bridget, and Kendra from the Girls Next Door. And definitely can't forget about Zac Braff. But no Joe, I wouldn't kiss him, even if he wanted to, because I have a boyfriend!
Classic Rock yeah! I'd like to think I have an ecletic taste in music. I listen to just about everything from techno (Give me some DJ Irene, Aphrodite, and Richard Humptyvision) to country. Just about. I appreciate music for different reasons whether it be "heart felt lyrics" in that cheesey love song for example, an awesome beat/rythm, or a different style. Every song has something in it, a favorite part for what could be the most random reason. But basically it depends on my mood. I will always be in love with OAR, Maroon 5, Blind Melon, The Killers, Jack Johnson, and of course Sublime. But if you looked at my music collection I'm highly confident there would be something you'd like. As well as stuff you wouldn't I admit.
One of the best movies ever is Love Actually. If you haven't seen it, then I shame you. Along those same lines is also Spanglish. I just saw Memoirs of A Geisha and fell in love with it. Some other favorites include A Christmas Story, The Adams Family, Napolean Dynamite, Legally Blonde, Garden State, The fifth Element, We Were Soldiers, Full Metal Jacket.... and well I can't think well under pressure so that's it.
I don't have anything I watch religously but I do have shows I try to catch. Scrubs definitely. Comedy Central for sure, The Daily Show and Colbert Report rock my world, although they can be a little over the top sometimes. Dr. 90210 and Plastic Surgery Before and After. I want to hang out with The Girls Next Door, but for some reason I don't think I'll be in Playboy anytime soon, so I'll settle for watchin em on the boob tube. Its Always Sunny In Philedelphia And Dirt. And when nothing's on... which seems to be the case most of the time since I'm not into Lost or Grey's Anatomy or Desperate Housewives, I'll flip it to GoScout Homes. haha. And I can't forget TLC and the discvey channel for the baby shows. My clock maybe ticking according to some people, but in my defense I do want to be a Nurse Practitioner Midwife, sepcializing in gynecology and obstetrics.
I love to read and some of my favorites are The House of God and Mount Misery by Samuel Shem. Memoirs of A Geisha by Arthur Golden.
CAITLIN SHEA.... and My family, especially my mother. They are the greatest role models as I see the sacrifices they have made for myself and each other.
