From hard hitting techno to the filthiest of electro, Critical Distance aka Karl O Callaghan, plays the decks with both pride and pleasure. At the tender age of 17 Karl's eyes and ears were opened to a new world of music from seeing Carl Cox in action behind the wheels of steel. From here his passion grew, Faster, Stronger and Harder. Djs like Rush, Marco Remus and Marco Bailey really inspired Karl into taking the next step and in 2005 he purchased his first set of decks and hasnt looked back since. Hypnotized by what these djs could do behind the decks and how they could control a crowd with their every movement Critical Distance knew he had found his calling. Beginning his journey into the world of techno by playing local pubs and house parties, Critical Distance now finds himself playing more and more clubs. while supporting dj's such as torsten klanzer, alexander wienstien and felix krotcher Karl is looking forward to challenge of making a name for himself in the world of techno. watch this spacefound this
