Marc Suarez [Davinci Unlimited]

It was in the summer of 1999 when I first began mixing. A year later I became the youngest DJ to perform on a local Corpus Christi radio station, known as, 102.3 The Beat. Consistently playing mainstream house and trance, my first performance at a club was a pre-recorded set which was played at a local club named Club 54, otherwise known as the Groove Factory. I would arrive at the club during its peak hours and my sets which mostly consisted of artist such as, Alice Deejay, House Heroes, ATB, and DJ Jean would be played during the contest held every Friday night. When I was 15 years old, I was offered to perform regularly at events known as lock ins held at AMFs Rivera lanes with DJ Natural. In 1998 I performed on Hot Z 95, a well known and highly respected radio station in Corpus Christi. After being a guest DJ on Hot Z 95 I was later offered a spot at a Ludacris & JA Rule concert. It was at the age of 16 that I performed at a local teen club, Muevelo, for the first time. By the next year I had decided to take on the underground music scene as my inspiration to play different types of trance music. For the following year, I would perform at a club called Oxygen. Doing such, I had the opportunity to perform with several well-known artists such as DJ Fuse, DJ Siam, DJ Moe Flow, DJ Advan and even some out of town DJs like Keeque and Adam Bomb. It was at a party named Evolution held in San Antonio that I introduced my talent to Wildstyle Phanatiks head promoter, Oscar Davila. Having those fifteen minutes of fame gave me the opportunity to express my talent. It was then that doors began to open and I began receiving exposure in San Antonio. I was 19 when I first landed my residency slot at a local bar and lounge named Utopia. After that I also performed at a club named South Boulevard. After 6 and half years of local performances I began to receive offers to perform in cities such as Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas. The time has come to step it up a notch, so i have started to produce my own music and play it out. I am currently working on my studio which consist of IMAC core 2 duo with logic pro 7, reason 3, and bias peak le. I have event 20/20 monitors, m-audio firewire 410 audio card, 500 gig external HD, and many projects including some remixes i am currently working on!
