I hate adding to this list, because something new comes up every day
This past year, I became enthralled with Latin music. Any type. Seriously. It's so versatile, it fits any mood, and yet somehow gives you energy when you listen to it. In my mind, in my future life, I will be living in my self-decorated loft in Portland, rocking out to any sort of latin music while doing whatever the hell it is I'll do when I'm at home.
Movies:
I have seen probably 5% of the movies the average person has seen. It's pathetic. However, when I like a movie, I have probably seen it more times than the average person. My favorite movie of all time, right now, is Thelma and Louise. The rest of my favorite movies are Harold and Maude, Dogma, Amelie, The Meaning of Life (Monty Python), The Birdcage, Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, Cabaret and OH GOD, this best foreign film I've ever ever EVER EVER seen, Kontroll...there are more...
Television:
I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book.
-Groucho Marx
Books:
I just love books. I have too many favorites, but the ones that leap out at me are Lolita, Catch-22, Invisible Man, The Shipping News, 1984, The Brothers Karamazov, The Bridge Over San Luis Ray, Germinal, Mutiny On The Bounty, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Slaughterhouse-Five. This is merely a cross-section of books I have read, specifically books I have read more than once. I am always reading at least 2 books at one time. I adore poetry as well. My favorite poet is probably T.S. Eliot.
