Not Left Alone

NOT LEFT ALONE is basically three Church musicians that are inspired by more than just gospel music and felt the need to express G-d in a more creative and intense way musically. It’s a mixture of old school Gospel, Funk, and Rock (early 90’s). Frontman/guitarist Lantz Stevens a.k.a The Deacon grew up playing drums for his church when he received the urge to begin song writing. His brother, who introduced him to "Rock" bought him his first guitar and he hasn’t put it down since. He learned from former bandmate Mike Whitebread but draws other influences from guitarist like Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine and a slew of Gospel guitarist. Bassist Sean Elder a.k.a St. Elsewhere had always had a love for bass playing but finally became inspired to get one after watching his friend Josh Matranga of whom he took lessons from. His influences have a wide range of hip-shaking and head bobbing artists. "Way too many to list, but as long as the emotion and message is felt or heard I love it!" Aris Manuel a.k.a Bro. Aman Solo grew up playing in church along with his older cousin Lantz. Inspired by Lantz’s playing, and having the urge to employ his rapid-fire drum corps cadences, he decided to "join forces" with his two Church bandmates. So....One day Lantz ask the two after a choir rehearsal if they wanted to start their own project and they all agreed. NOT LEFT ALONE, which means "He’s always present" was born.
