SurfJones is a Blues, Rock and Reggae trio led by their guitar playing lead singer, Bill Mello. He's backed by bassist Mike Berkemeyer and drummer Ron Rhoades and they've been together for five years and play weekly in Hanalei, Kauai at The Tahiti Nui bar. They were also the house band at The Sheraton Kauai Resort in Poipu Beach on Kauai's South Shore for two years and also spent two years performing weekly at Dukes Canoe Club on Kalapaki Beach at Nawilwili. The group also performs for banquets and weddings at some of Kauai's more prestigious Resort Hotels like, The Grand Hyatt in Poipu, and The Princeville Hotel on the North Shore, as well as private parties. Five songs on this profile...."Burnin' and Lootin'", "Common Ground", "Save The Music", "Bulldog" and "Twenty Flight Rock" were taken from a 'Kauai Live' KKCR radio broadcast with DJ Dove and remixed and mastered at Koloa Dub Lab by engineer Ron Rhoades who also produced, engineered, mixed, played guitar,bass,drums and keyboards on the fourth song, "Timberline (KDL Remix)", which was taken from the Bill Mello solo project in the vaults at Koloa Dub Lab.
