LAYDSAGE - D.R.U.G.

LAYDSAGE born of Jamaican decent and raised under the Blackfoot Indian ways of hard work and tenacity, she has always obtained a gift and a passion for entertainment. Her earliest adventures in the world of entertainment started where most aspiring singers start, in church. She was brought into singing under the direction of her gospel choir V.O.P. (Voices of Praise). This led into her pursuing an outside venture with another gospel group branched of by V.O.P. called “Just Us” an all female gospel group. LAYDSAGE has an exstensive background in the arts being train in both theater and dance. Her dance career started early as well when she was involved with the churches’ praise and worship dance team. Outside of church she also danced with various dance teams which includes Versatility Dance Troop and China Eyes Dance Production, local dance companies in her city. Being a backup dancer for R&B group “John Style” and west coast artist Rapping Fo Tay. THE LADY has also performed with renowned actress Minnie Fox of “Martin” fame, choreographed for the BACS and Diversity Awards shows. She is affiliated with several modeling companies including Sha-Shamell Modeling Troop and House of Roses as well as L.A. Boxing ring card girl. So now that you know about the singing, the dancing, and the modeling world that she has been apart of she also is into theatre. LAYDSAGE has also graced numerous stages playing the major roles in plays such as “Annie”, “The Wiz”, “Dream Girls”, “A Mid-summers Night Scream”, and “Beauty and The Beast”. She has also done a number of gospel plays including “Get Right with God” and “Righteous Saints”. Other plays she has featured in are “What Do You Want on Your Tombstone”, “A Prince Who Wouldn’t Talk”, and “De Obeah Mon”. LAYDSAGE is more than a triple threat she is a force to be reckoned with. Be on the look out for her newest solo project “INTRODUCING THE LADY” we will say that this is just the beginning of a rising star.
