About Me

My name is Katherine, and I'm a certified Grief Counselor and hospice volunteer. I am well-acquainted with loss, can talk about death, ANY kind of loss, anything that is difficult...and want to offer assistance to anyone who may need it.

I am very recently divorced, and, in my humble opinion, divorce is a loss second only to death. A marriage has died, but the victims are still here. I shall share my experience at a later time, but right now, I need to find a place to live.

Anyone who is hurting, for whatever reason.

Come, sit awhile, talk, just be...loss is loss, whether it be the death of a loved one, divorce, the death of a pet, the loss of a job...or a friend. If you are faced with serious illness, you can talk about that, too. In that case, your loss is the person you were before, and the life you once knew.

Sometimes we need a place to feel safe with our feelings, and not be judged, and you can do that here. Ask questions, rant, cry; it's all okay. If I can give you answers, I shall; if not, I'll try to help you find them.
