DrumrJT's Autobiography (see Age 20):
Day 1:
* Born in a small north-eastern NC town with music in my soul.
(Ironically the same small NC town where Chris Daughtry was born)
* When I was just a toddler, the very sweet lady who sat with me had a son (J.V. Hunt) who played Sax for 60's super-group "Dyke & the Blazers".
Age 9:
* Received my first (long awaited) drum set from Santa.
Age 10:
* Joined Elementary School concert band.
Age 11:
* Awarded drum section leader of Middle School concert & marching bands.
Age 13:
* Performed "Drum Set Trio" in High School talent show.
* Hired by Midnight Riders band to perform club circuit.
Age 15:
* Awarded drum section leader of High School concert & marching bands.
* Joined Omega Rock band who wrote, recorded & performed originals.
Age 16:
* Hired by Endless Train band to perform club circuit.
Age 17:
* Co-wrote my first song and performed shows with my hometown friend Danny Mark Wells.
(Danny has since become a multi-platinum BMI songwriter in Nashville, TN and has written #1 hit songs for George Strait, Rascal Flatts & others).
Age 19:
* Enrolled into E.C.U. School of Music.
Age 20: (The "Pro" Years)
* Performed all the drum tracks on the entire self-titled album "Juicy" by Juicy on Arista Records of NYC.
* Performed drums on "Happy Hour" CD by Eumir Deodato (multi-platinum hit song producer & recording artist) on Warner Brothers Records.
* Both were recorded at the legendary House Of Music Studio
in West Orange, New Jersey (Kool & the Gang recorded their multi-platinum hits here under the production of Eumir Deodato).
